NotJustWebsites.com is so different from other website companies the difference is like night and day. For instance most of them started out learning how to build websites because they wanted to find a way to make money. On the other hand, for our Founder, Steven Nunnally, money was the least of his considerations. He was learning how to build and optimize websites because his life dream was to use them as a tool to share information with people who needed it. For instance Steven's first two websites KnightsOfKindness.com and BaddTeddy.com were built to support efforts to help abused women, people with disabilities, parents of missing children and seniors. On these websites, despite that he himself lived hand to mouth, he actually refused to accept donations of any kind and even turned down non-profit status. His efforts were to use websites to help people. Period! Another difference between our company and other website companies involves our company policy. We started out as a source of information to help nice people. We did not want to see that change. And so we decided we would only build websites for nice people. And so one of the first things we did was to have the following written onto our business cards. Company Policy We refuse to build websites for scammers,
spammers, pornographers or rude people.
Snob Clause No Snobs! Our little company has grown over the years. We now own the largest network of city information websites (the fun stuff) in Florida and Georgia. And have work in progress in 23 states. We did this simply to help people find more fun things to do in their lives. Oh, and of course it provides a great place to put advertisements for our clients websites. From Steven working on late at night alone we have grown to have people working with us in California, Indiana, North Carolina, etc... And yet, we are a family. The first rule of Not Just Websites is mean people suck! And so there are no mean people working here. We are in fact the friendliest, most caring, people in town. We think of our clients as family. Often we go back on our own time, free of charge to the clients, to tweak something or make it a little nicer without having been asked simply because "We enjoy seeing our friends happy". One other unique thing about us. We refuse to sell. Instead we educate people. We feel that "selling" is trying to push someone to make a hast decision that they may or may not have thought through all the way. Instead we take a few hours (free of charge) with each client to look at their goals and desires and see what would and would not work. And one thing we will never do is sell someone something they do not need. If we do not think you will get the cost of your website back and profits many times over, we will refuse to build the site.
